About Me
Hello! I'm Nicholas Burum, a recent graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Games. As a budding game producer, I am passionate about orchestrating the various elements of game development to create seamless and engaging experiences. My primary focus is on project management, where I excel in coordinating teams and managing timelines to bring creative visions to life.
Professional Journey
Throughout my academic career, I have taken on key production roles in several projects, most notably as the producer forMy Little Cemetery, a capstone game published on Steam by Resting Place Games, LLC. Leading a team of 24, I was responsible for maintaining project timelines, conducting daily stand-ups, and ensuring effective communication across all team members. This experience solidified my ability to manage complex projects from inception to launch. In addition to My Little Cemetery, I have worked on projects likeLight In The Dark and New Moods, where I honed my skills in both production and design. While my primary expertise lies in production, these projects allowed me to develop a foundational understanding of game design, enhancing my ability to collaborate with designers and artists effectively.
